What is WVO and SVO?

Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) is oil collected from various sources. Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) is produced from WVO by filtering it to levels anywhere from 100 to 1 micron which makes it usable as an alternative diesel fuel source.

Where does it come from?

WVO is collected from sources such as Restaurants; Sports Arenas; Stadiums; and other establishments that are involved in deep frying foods.

Where can I get some?

There are many locations where you can purchase WVO and SVO, including us. We have listed as many sources as we know of on our links page.

Why should we use WVO/SVO?

It is an established fact that everyone in the world needs to cut back on the use of petroleum based fuels and start using energy sources that for many years have been discarded as waste products. Do not confuse the difference between using WVO and SVO as alterative energy sources as being the same as using ethanol based fuels generated by the use of corn and other grains.
